Suffolk Sleepover – In home dog boarding
**Suffolk Sleepovers are exclusive for members of my Rural Adventure gang only*
*To qualify for a Suffolk Sleepover, your dog must attend a Rural Adventure twice per month*
Does the idea of boarding your furry friend in a traditional kennel fill you with horror? If you’re going on holiday, you want to relax knowing your dog is well looked after.
You need to know they’re getting plenty of care, attention, exercise, play and socialisation in a safe environment. All the things that make a dog happy! I offer just that in my Coddenham home, for one dog or two from the same family. My rescue dog Bailey spent the first 10 months of his life in and out of kennels. I know dogs who’ve previously come from a kennel environment may struggle to settle or have anxieties regarding abandonment. With my in home boarding services your dog will have round the clock companionship with both me and my playful pooch, Bailey. Home boarding is a dog’s luxury retreat compared to kennels which helps them to settle while you’re away. You’d be mad to put your pooch in a caged kennel rather than a friendly, warm, family environment!
What To Expect When Boarding With Me
Your dog will be treated like my own. They’ll be fully integrated into family life during their stay. If you feel it will help your dog settle, you’re welcome to bring their bed and favourite toys. There are plenty here if you do forget, so don’t worry. Throughout the day there’ll be plenty of play sessions, cuddles and pampering, as well as attending both rural adventures each day. There’s no doubt they’ll be thoroughly entertained and ready for a good snooze by the fire by the end of the day. If I do need to go out, it won’t be for long.
They’ll also have supervised access to my secure garden, whenever they want. All of this from my quiet cottage in the ancient village of Coddenham.
All I ask is that your dog is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatment.
All dogs are required to have 2 walks and a trial overnight stay prior to boarding. I also ask that dogs accompany me on at least two rural adventures per month to build on our relationship. That way they have the consistency of care and will be settled when they stay next time!
A sleep over is priced from £50 per 24 hour period.
I look forward to welcoming you both into our home, get in touch for a quick introductory chat.

What People Say
My fiancé and I are proud owners of two stunning, yet challenging German Shepherd dogs; our youngest is reactive to other dogs and our eldest, well he is 45kg.Our dogs mean the world to us and it’s difficult to find someone who is willing to take on two large German Shepherds let alone someone who is professional and 100% trustworthy. With Karen, not only do you get all of the above, but you are guaranteed that she will care and love them like her own.I look forward to reading Karen’s daily reports and am guaranteed the pooches have had a great time. Karen is a godsend and I can only but recommend her in the strongest possible terms
We have returned home from a week away to a very happy Buster, he has certainly had an amazing week with Karen. It was lovely to see buster appearing on Facebook whilst we were away looking so content and happy. I would definitely highly recommend Karen’s dog services.
Reliable & Professional
I fractured my foot recently and so I contacted Karen who has been walking my boys for the last three weeks. I cannot praise Karen enough, she offers a professional service, is reliable and my dogs loved her! I fully intend to have Karen mind my dogs if I am out for the day and can relax knowing they are in good hands, thank you
